LIFE è un’opera realizzata in sabbia sul lungomare italiano durante un’estate trascorsa nelle Marche. E’ un’opera che conduce la memoria ai giochi infantili, ma che nello stesso tempo ci parla della trasformazione e del divenire cui ogni cosa è soggetta. Le onde del mare, con il lento alzarsi della marea, incominciano a lambire l’opera delicatamente e, poco per volta, la trasformano fino ad appropriarsene completamente.La vita, che proviene dall’acqua, a poco a poco, si lascia sedurre dalle onde e dal loro lento fluire e ritorna all’elemento che l’ha generata dissolvendosi in esso.
Life is a work made of sand on the Italian sea-front during a summer spent on the Adriatic sea. It is a work that awakens reminiscences of the childish games, but at the same time, speaks to us of the transformation and becoming to which everything is subject. The waves of the sea, with the slow rise of the tide, begin to gently lap the work and, little by little they transform it untill they appropriate it. Life, which comes from water, gradually lets itself be seduced by the waves and their slow flow and returns to the element that generated it by dissolving in it.
