Colorice è un’opera realizzata in ghiaccio: è una natura morta “vanitas” concettuale e contemporanea. Prediligo le forme geometriche le prospettive, le anamorfosi, utilizzo ghiaccio trasparente o colorato e in questo caso i cubetti compongono una forma armonica astratta. Il cubo, forma che delinea l’idea di staticità e definizione, archetipo di solidità e sicurezza, si dissolve lasciando tracce labili di colore. Quest’opera ha un tempo vitale di qualche ora.
Colorice is a work made of ice: it is a conceptual and contemporary “vanitas” still life. I have prefernce for geometric shapes, perspectives, anamorphoses, I use transparent or colored ice and in this case the cubes form an abstract harmonic shape. The cube, a shape that outlines the idea of stillness and definition, an archetype of solidity and safety, dissolves, leaving faint traces of color. This work has a vital time of a few hours.
